Ukrainian High-Tech Competition
Ukrainian High-Tech Competition is carried out with the aim to support the development of competitive technology business on the basis of Ukrainian scientific and technological potential.
The Organizer of the Competition is Venture Capital Company TECHINVEST.
General Manager of the Competition is Ñånter For Innovation Development (CID), which has been working in the Ukrainian market of high tech infrastructure for 8 years and has experience of participating in international projects.
Main objectives of the Competition:

To identify the most promising business projects on the basis of Ukrainian scientific and technical development and engineering experience from the point of view of their competitiveness in the global market and attractiveness for venture capital investment.

To attract foreign venture capital and local investments for further development of Ukrainian technology enterprises and promote investment activity in the Ukrainian high tech sector;

To promote promising Ukrainian scientific and technological development, inventions, technology venture capital projects and technology enterprises to the international market

To support the development of the national IP market and creation of Ukrainian high-tech brands in the global market.
All projects submitted to the Competition will be subject to comprehensive evaluation by TECHINVEST’s International Experts Panel. The Panel consists of experts from IBM (www.ibm.com), Intel (www.intel.com), venture companies Draper Fisher Jurvetson (www.dfj.com), Harris & Harris Group (www.hhgp.com), Pitango Venture Capital (www.pitango.com), Asset Management Company (www.assetman.com), Vision Capital (www.visioncap.com), Sonopia (www.sonopia.com), as well as by several US, West European and Russian investment firms and funds.
The winners of the Competition will have a unique opportunity to develop their own business on the basis of the existing technology projects or ideas by attracting new business partners and venture capital investments. Finalists of the Competition will get an excellent opportunity to present their projects to venture capital community during a Road Show of Ukrainian technologies in Silicon Valley, USA. The Organizers of the Competition will provide comprehensive support to finalists in commercialization of the projects submitted to the Competition.
On condition of providing financial contribution to support the Competition, Partners of the Competition will get: • Priority right to have access to information about the projects submitted to the Competition;
• Opportunity to expand technology areas of the Competition (by prior consent of the Organizers and General Manager);
• Opportunity to develop reliable partner relations with foreign venture capital investors and multinational technology corporations;
• Opportunity to delegate their representative to the Board of Partners of the Competition, take part in public events of the Competition (on condition of providing financial support of such events, by prior consent of the Organizers and General Manager).
